“There is nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer.” — Gen. James H. Doolittle

support our veterans: Community outreach and service

Join us in our efforts to help those in need! Every dollar spent feeds and clothes the homeless, while helping veterans and abuse survivors overcome life’s many challenges.

Here we do not discriminate against race, religion, or your past. No matter what the story is, we have a veteran who knows where you come from.

We have organizations that understand the chaos and order behind any calm demeanor.

We have programs dedicated to the meticulous and complicated process of transitioning a war-weathered Soldier into a steady civilian life.

Never be ashamed of PTSD, nightmares, or the way your hands shake if you try to sign a simple document.

These children and volunteers won’t pay it any mind, and these elders don’t judge. Welcome Home. Whether veteran or otherwise.

Supporting Military Families, One Community at a Time

SOV WILCO is a military-owned non-profit based in the heart of our community. Dedicated to service, we support local communities by selling unique military-themed clothing and apparel. Through our events and programs, we aim to make a humble difference and bring diverse groups of people together.

With well over 2 million employed military and civilians alike, our military represents a great collaboration of wit and talent forging young men and women into something only God could take credit for.

Many sacrifices lifelong and temporary adorn each soldier and citizen like gemstones of valor and discretion. It is a unique experience to become a veteran, and glory can’t be mistaken for purpose.

Veterans serve honorably till the last breath, it’s a part of who we are. Even if it’s something perceivably as insignificant as opening the door for an elderly civilian or saying “no” for the defenseless.

2024: The year of breakthroughs

At the halfway mark of 2024 we managed to donate over 800 coats to families in need! We have also distributed over $50K worth of funds or resources through various programs and agencies. 2023 marked a great transition within the visions and inspirations behind all the hard work and daily sacrifices.

We love and cherish all of our sponsors, stakeholders, and veteran supporters. To be able to provide anything for a fellow veteran or citizen in need is a blessing. With greater responsibilities as we grow causing a new demand on all staff and volunteers, we will strive to not just support, but honor our veterans in our day to day efforts to create self-sustainable community impact.

This is only the beginning.

Words of Thanks from Our Community

See the impact of our efforts through genuine stories from our supporters. Witness the transformation in individuals and neighborhoods. By the Grace of God we were able to be there for many people in critical moments to watch Divine Intervention take place.

Thanks to Ms. Butler and SOV WILCO, I was able to provide medicine for my Desert Storm Husband. They helped me when I needed them and now I volunteer to help others. She’s never asked for anything back, just that I pay it forward. She is a blessing.

“My dad is a Vietnam Veteran, he had an out of control dog. She virtually trained us so my father could be comfortable. I am now able to help other veterans with their support animals.”

Raymond (1st Generation Military Descendant)

Thanks to Ms. Butler and SOV WILCO during post-pandemic layoffs, industries having collapsed, and nationwide impacts across offices and companies everywhere, I was able to earn enough extra money to approach new customers and meet impossible private goals.”

The Valley of Restoration

Welcome to an amazing place to grow and develop, to raise a family. Not just home to mysterious caverns and mountains that witnessed Civil War take place, it’s seen true American Hope take her first steps.

“There is a powerful redemptive grace here like inexplicable shooting stars.

This too shall last forever.”

The people of The Shenandoah Valley are noble and courageous, good humored and great company. Many non-profits are nestled on the other side of your next adventure. You never know who you might meet.

These hills and valleys are filled with humble businesses, farms, and wisdom worth a lifetime. The food is unforgettable, and the history of these mountains shaped the America you know today.

There is something mysterious about the way it has drawn the children of those stars and stripes to find rest. Even still, we need something to do.

Please. We dedicated our lives to service. You really thought we were going to retire? We have more dedicated Sons and Daughters of The American Dream than you think.

A Military Dream Came True

If you knew who this man was, you would be amazed! Over 100 years old, this man standing next to SOV WILCO owner Natalie Butler helped change the course of World War 2. A Big Brother and Protector.

This is Iron Butt, and he was one of the Legendary Buffalo Soldiers. Many of his Brothers won the Congressional Medal of Honor, an award presented in recognition of combat valor that goes above and beyond the call of duty.

Blessed by history

A humble woman and brave warrior, this woman finds great inspiration in The American Spirit and the stories of veterans that overcame impossible struggles for the sake of a picture bigger than themselves.

Honored by their stories and testimonies, her love and respect for her military family as well as non-military has increased each year in unique ways. Here we introduce the head of this diverse organization, overseeing various matters in different areas stoking the torch of new inspiration with the tools passed down by elders with great wisdom.

This entrepreneur races towards big ideas and through continued sacrifice, returns the platform of her achievements towards veteran causes. And yes, that man is over 100 years old, and he helped to change the course of World War II. This meeting safe to say, was a life-changing moment for the Head of Operations at SOV WILCO. Guidance from these historical veterans is not easily obtained.

Supporting their veterans, we present to you: sov wilco. A non-profit organization.

“You should have SEEN this King! Over 100 years old, and his presence filled the room.”
